Seasonal Renting Offer for Sports or Workation

Since our origins lie in the Engadin, we have always been connected to that famous valley. After World War II, we returned and purchased a house from a distant relative at an almost unbelievable price: just 35,000 CHF! This was a two-story building with large cellar, attic space, and 120 m² of floor area. We began by renting out the ground floor while keeping the first floor as a vacation retreat.
Over time, we transformed the property two to three times. Eventually, we developed a condo-minium with three floors, comprising five units, plus a garage and a sauna in the cellar.

The relative construction costs were minimal compared to the increase in value brought about by the area’s development. We sold all the units quite easily, although in hindsight, much too early—as several years later, we could have earned approximately three times as much!
The story continues because the building featured a sunny-side extension of 84 m² over two floors with a balcony. This annex belonged to a nearby sister and was inherited by us in 2005. Returning to our roots at that time, we resumed renovations—this time with far greater satisfaction.

We added another annex of 60 m² to the existing 84 m², again with two floors, parking, and garden spaces. The roof of this extension became a large terrace with fantastic panoramic views. Unsurprisingly, we managed to sell this additional unit for more than 2 million CHF.
We share this not to boast about the profit but to illustrate that Switzerland truly is a paradise for real estate investment.
Last but not least, here is our offer as mentioned: The original flat on the upper floor, measuring 84 m² with 3½ rooms and fully renovated in 2025, is available for seasonal rental. The summer price is 3,000 CHF per month, while the winter price is 4,000 CHF per month. Feel free to book directly through Surtuor.ch.
